(I don't think you're supposed to do this but you really deserve it Kaili. You would definitely get a blog award if someone else had given it to me so I don't think the fact that you've already got one should count you out from getting this one as well!)
Billy and Button

You are so cute Abby! I love the line "artists and very important people" haha, that made me laugh! :D Thanks for giving the award back to me! I'm having a giveaway of some cute art!(I just posted it) so make sure you come back to enter the draw. See you later today!
I'd like to thank all those who have helped me to get where I am!! Especially, my husband, without whom I would not even have a computer! And Abby, who helped me (kind-of) with those first tentative steps into computer-land. (ok - it wasn't just 'kind-of', and I'll try to forget the exasperated, loud sighs and abrupt hoots of annoyance when I was a teensy bit slow at picking up all the.. stuff you were try to teach me :) And, of course, Tammy, who explained to me what I had done after I had done it, and who showed us all what we could do by paving the way into blog land before us! And for Jessima, and Kaili, whose support and encouragement have been so important to me too! And to ......
Thanks Abby! :)
I love that it's a Lemonade Stand award. I don't even drink lemonade, but I love the words together! It makes me think of Norman Rockwell and The Little Rascals... happy, summer, childhood things :)
(Did I ever tell you about the time I set up a home-made ginger-beer stand in Elizabeth when I was young? It was an oven-hot day - about 112 degrees F. - the kind of day you could have fried eggs on the pavement. I set up under a tree next to the telephone box on our street. However, nobody but me was outside! The streets were empty. Everybody was trying to escape the heat by staying indoors, with all their blinds and curtains closed. I sold one glass all afternoon, to the man whose house I had set up in front of. He saw me out there when he drove home. sigh. Happy days! :)
And, just for the record, in case anybody besides you takes the time to read this :) - you were a wonderful, almost always cheerful, and magnificently helpful teacher and scribe for me back in the old 'I-know-nothing-about-computers-and-am-not-even-going-to-walk-too-close-to-that-one-in-the-study-because-it-hates-me' days!
And, I really enjoy your blog too. You have always been very talented and interesting writer.
And, I love you! Have a great day!
